The risk of corona virus has started to increase again in Nepal. The infection that dropped to zero was seen in 17 people on the same day yesterday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 17 of the 1,454 people tested were infected. On the 7th and 8th of Chaitra there were zero infections.
Director of Epidemiology and Communicable Disease Control Division, Dr. Chumanlal Das, said that as the number of corona virus infections is increasing in India, its impact has reached Nepal.
He said that because infected people are coming to Nepal from open border, the testing at the border has been tightened. He asked for public health standards and additional vaccinations.
The ministry has asked everyone to take extra dose (booster dose) for the prevention and control of corona virus. Now a campaign is being conducted to administer booster doses in all places including the valley.
