Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said the government would immediately take effort for the establishment of the Institute of Health Sciences (medical college) in Ilam.
In a meeting with a delegation comprising CPN (Unified Socialist)'s senior leader Jhalanath Khanal at the Prime Minister residence, Baluwatar, on Saturday, PM Dahal said the government would initiate efforts for the establishment of the institute.
PM was positive about the setup of Ilam Institute of Health Sciences and also gave a word to immediately initiaite necessary process to that end, shared leader Khanal's aide Krishna Bhattarai.
The delegation comprised CPN (Maoist Centre)'s central member Dhiran Sharma, Ilam municipality mayor Kedar Thapa, former Vice-Chancellor of Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Prof Dr Rajendra Raj Wagle, advocate Samip Ghimire, Krishna Bhatatrai, Manish Gautam, Lalit Dhungana, Madhab Chamlagain and Bimala Subba, among others. ---
