A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a truck at Gunadi of Myagde Gaonpalika-1 on the Prithvi Highway today. The deceased has been identified as Taran Thapa, 19, of Kahunshivpur, Rishing Gaonpalika-2, Tanahu, according to the District Police Office, Tanahu.
A young man died on the way to Damauli Hospital when a truck heading towards Damauli from Tharpu of Tanahu hit a motorcycle travelling in the same direction from behind. The identity of the deceased was revealed after his brother Ram Bahadur Thapa stated that he was his brother.
The truck (Na 3 Kha 4691) hit a motorcycle (Ga 5 Pa 6083) heading in the same direction. According to Tanahun Superintendent of Police Rajendra Babu Regmi, the truck driver who was absconding after the collision has come in contact with the police but has not been brought under control.
