Opinions differed regarding the release of former Home Minister Khand

The hearing will be held in the third court

 The opinions of the judges of the High Court are conflicting regarding whether or not to uphold the order of the District Court to keep the former Home Minister Balkrishna Khand in prison.

After hearing the case related to the fake Bhutanese refugee case, two judges, Janak Pandey and Prakash Kharel, had a difference of opinion. Judge Janak Pandey has ordered that he can be released on bail of 30 lakhs. Judge Kharel has ordered to uphold the order of the district court.

In the case of Balkrishna Khand, with the difference of opinion in the joint bench, the hearing will be held on the bench of the third judge as well. Until then, Khand will have to remain in prison.

Narendra KC, Sandeep Rayamajhi and Teknath Rijal have been ordered to be released on bail.
