President's interest in the development of Tanahun

President Ramchandra Paudel has been expressing special interest in the national pride and other development plans being run in his home district Tanahun.

 Pride project Tanahun Hydropower, Prithvi Highway Upgradation, Dumre-Besisahar road project, Bhanu Marg, Budha singh Marg work has progressed rapidly.

Due to the special interest of President Poudel, the construction of Tanahun meeting hall has been completed and inaugurated. Similarly, President Paudel has also directed the construction of the Byas Marg, the motorable bridge of Ghumaune, the motorable bridge of Devghat, and the bridge of Gaighat. He has been calling the officials related to the road department and giving instructions to speed up the development work.

While inaugurating the district meeting hall constructed at Byas Municipality-3, BP Ban Batika, Damauli on Saturday, President Paudel promised not to get involved in politics but not to withdraw his hand from development.

 According to Tankanath Paudel of the bridge construction committee said that he has continued to monitor the progress of Tanahun's development and construction work from the secretariat, to monitor the people's representatives and to monitor the relevant agencies, the development and construction work has gained intensity.

He said that the Devghat Thingura Bridge that connects Chitwan and Tanahun is in a state of disrepair and the construction work has started again after the Ministry of Finance arranged additional budget on the initiative of President Paudel. Poudel said - 'After the construction of this bridge was delayed, the President said that I will go on February 19 to inaugurate this bridge, and now the construction work is being done in a hurry.'

It is said that President Paudel was interested in the upgrading of roads such as Keshabtar Marg, Budha singh Marg, and Byas Marg, which were started when Paudel was the Minister of Local Development, the construction of those roads is now going on at a fast pace.

Anandaraj Tripathi, President of Bhanu Village, said that President Paudel has taken the lead in building a 108-foot statue of Vyas, creating a religious destination through Vyas-Parashar Park, making Chundiramgha, the birthplace of the National Poet Bhanubhakta, and the surrounding area a literary pilgrimage center and making it a center of national unity.

Tripathi said - We informed the President about the delay in the work. The President is interested in the development and taking information about the progress.

President Paudel has also initiated the construction of a modern old age home in Devghat village with hot water and elevator. Land search is underway for the construction of an old age home.

According to Teel Bahadur Thapa, Chairman of Devghat Rural Municipality Village, there was a discussion with President Poudel about building an old age home on government land in front of Devghat Area Development Committee. Chairman Thapa started the issue of building an old age home by President Paudel himself.
