The body of a man was found rotting in the Satpatre forest of Mahottari on Wednesday.
According to Prakash Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, the body of a man was found rotting and smelly in a seven-leaf sloping forest 500 meters northwest of BP Highway in Bardibas Municipality-3.
The locals had informed the police after seeing the corpse of a 50-55-year-old man whose name, surname, and homeland had not been disclosed. After the locals were informed about the body, a police team from the Area Police Office, Bardibas went to the spot and picked up the body, and sent it to the District Hospital for examination.
