Seven Nepalis died in a car accident in Nainital, India. Eight people, including seven Nepalis, died in an accident in Nainital district.
The deceased Nepalis are Vishram Chaudhary, 50, Dhiraj, 45, Anantram Chaudhary, 40, Vinod Chaudhary, 38, Udayaram Chaudhary, 55, Tilak Chaudhary, 45, and Gopal Basnet, 60.
Indian media reported that the vehicle plunged 150 meters off the road near Betal Ghat in Nainital last night. A team of State Disaster Response Team (SDRF) reached the spot and deployed for rescue.
The team and the locals together removed the dead bodies of 8 people from the scene. It is said that the seven deceased are from Kanchanpur.
Rajendra Kumar, the driver who lost his life in the accident, is a resident of Betal Ghat. They worked in Jal Jeevan Mission Project.
After work, they hired a car and were going to Champawat in Tanakpur.
