16.3 million worth of goods under control

A team of Parsa Police has taken under control a truck loaded with goods worth Rs 16.3 million imported from India by evading revenue. Police had seized a truck (Na 4 Kha 8334) from the road section in front of the Indian Embassy Chowk at Birgunj Metropolitan City-8 while loading more retail goods than the bill.

Police have also taken the truck driver under control. The truck along with its driver was handed over to Revenue Investigation Office Pathalaiya Bara on Wednesday for necessary action, said Om Prakash Khanal, spokesperson of District Police Office, Parsa and Deputy Superintendent of Police.
