Three women were presented with e-rickshaws by the Maiti Nepal Counseling and Rehabilitation Home located in Sunsari, Itahari. These e-rickshaws were granted to three vulnerable women, equipping them with essential skills and fostering self-sufficiency. Maiti Nepal Itahari has consistently empowered women and girls by imparting valuable life skills to aid in their rescue during various circumstances. With a strong dedication to women's welfare, Maiti Nepal has significantly emphasized promoting self-employment opportunities for women facing difficulties. Since its establishment in 2002, Maiti Nepal Itahari has successfully conducted 34 training sessions. Over the years, a total of 630 individuals have achieved self-reliance through diverse training programs offered in Itahari.
