The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has appointed Chetan Adhikari of Jhapa as the Member of the Advertisement Board and Sabnam Mukhiya as the Board of Director of Nepal Television. Minister for Communications and Information Technology Basanta Kumar Nembang on Monday appointed Adhikari and Mukhiya for a four-year team.
Adhikari is the editor-in-chief of nepalibahas.com and worked for Gorkhapatra and Kantipur dailies for more than two decades. Mukhiya, who took voluntary retirement from Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) as an Accounts Officer, is a cinematography graduate from Oscar College of Film Studies.
Handing over their appointment letters at the Ministry, Minister Nembang directed both the appointees to work for institutional development and use their creativity in the organisation.
Ministry’s Secretary Hari Prasad Basyal, RSS General Manager Siddharaj Rai, Chairman of Advertisement Board Laxman Humagain and others were present on the occasion.
