All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) central member Kiran Rai resigned from the post of ANFA spokesperson. Rai submitted his resignation letter to ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa.
Rai reportedly resigned from the post, in wake of a dispute that has recently rocked the national football governing body. Two factions led by ANFA President Sherpa and Senior Vice-president Pankaj Bikram Nembang are at loggerheads.
Rai also organised a press meet at ANFA Complex to announce his resignation. He thanked everyone at ANFA for handing him the responsibility for the past three years.
Rai will continue in his role as the Executive Member of ANFA and the Chairperson of ANFA's Information and Communication Committee
