2 people arrested in connection with the death of staff nurse Anupama Shrestha.
The police have arrested her boyfriend Sujan Dhakal and his father Murali Prasad Dhakal on the charge of encouraging nurse Anupama Shrestha to commit suicide.
Anupama
committed suicide by reaching her house in Dhakal's Bohoratar last Saturday. According to the suicide note found at the scene, Dhakal, a doctor at Kanti Children's Hospital, and Anupama had a long-term love affair.
Anupama committed suicide after Dhakal refused to marry her. The family of the deceased filed a police complaint against her boyfriend Sujan and father Murali Prasad for forcing Anupama to commit suicide.
The arrest warrant was issued by the district court on Tuesday, police said. Police circle DSP Manojit Kunwar informed that the father and son have been arrested and necessary
investigations have been started.
