The joint meeting of the federal parliament unanimously endorsed the proposal seeking consideration on the 'report of federal parliament's joint committee (work operation) regulation draft committee, 2080'.
Earlier, lawmakers Prem Suwal and Sumana Shretha expressed their views. Committee chair Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan furnished response to the lawmaker's queries. The parliament is scheduled to pass the regulation on May 28.
For this, the joint meeting of the federal parliament is called for May 28 at 11:00am.
On May 14, the joint meeting had endorsed the proposal on formation of committee which was proposed by HoR member Devendra Paduel and supported by Ishwori Devi Neupane and Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai. There are 16 members in the committee.
