The Waling municipality is giving free COVID tests and medicine.
Dilip Pratap Khan, mayor, and chairman of the hospital management committee said that the municipality has provided free food, tests, and medicine to the patients admitted due to COVID infection in the isolation center.
He informed that as the infection rate of COVID is increasing, the municipality has kept the health equipment including oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, with 50 beds in the primary hospital in a state of readiness. "Our first priority is to protect the lives of the people," he said.
Health department chief Kamal Prasad Pandey informed that those who come to the hospital for a COVID test, a free antigen test will be given to them. Infected people with respiratory problems are now admitted, while those with other common symptoms are told to stay at home-isolation, said Chief Pandey.
