Schools in Dang will be closed till mid-January. The District Administration Office, Dang, has issued a public notice prohibiting students from attending universities, colleges, tuition centers, training or any other doing educational activities in physical presence till mid-January.
Assistant Chief District Officer Savitra Pun informed that the congestion has been stopped till mid-January as there is a risk of coronavirus in the district as per the decision of COVID-19 Crisis Management Center. Similarly, dance bars, cinema houses, dance houses, health clubs, gyms, swimming pools, futsal and markets have also been closed.
Meanwhile, the Public Health Promotion Branch of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan Municipality on Monday provided moderna vaccine against coronavirus to 9,052 students studying in various schools in the sub-metropolitan area.
According to Bimal KC, COVID-19 Focal Person of the Public Health Promotion Branch, 6,763 female students and 4,389 male students from 21 vaccination centers in 18 wards of the school have been vaccinated.
KC informed that the students in the age group of 12 to 17 years are being vaccinated at the school and the vaccination will continue even today. Along with the vaccine, a program of feeding iron folic acid to school girls is also underway.
