Police in Sindhuli district on Sunday morning arrested a youth on charge of trying to bribe police from Khurkot in Sindhuli district.
The arrested has been identified as Abhishek Pariyar (20), a local resident of Bardibas Municipality-10 in Mahottari district.
The micro with vehicle registration number BA 4 KHA 4301 was heading to Kathmandu from Itahari. He had tried to bribe the security personnel deployed at Golanjor Rural Municipality check post officer during a routine vehicle by giving Rs 100.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, informed the police.
