A total of 595 employees have been deployed at the polling station in Kalikot for tomorrow's local elections. Polling officers and staffs with election materials have been deployed at all the nine local levels of the district.
Chief Election Officer Lal Kaji Shrestha said that 119 polling officers, 119 assistant polling officers and other staffs have been deployed in the district for the local level election.
There are 41 thousand 944 male and 38 thousand 472 female voters in the district with a total of 80 thousand 416 voters. According to the District Election Office, Kalikot, the required election materials including 91,000 ballot papers have reached the polling stations and polling booths.
