Forest Minister Ale commits to stop COVID-19 in Karnali

Ale has inquired CDOs regarding impacts of 2nd wave

Minister for Forest and Environment of the Federal Government, Prem Bahadur Ale, has expressed commitment to take initiatives from the central level in order to provide all means and resources needed to prevent and control coronavirus in Karnali.

Making a telephone call to Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, today, Minister Ale enquired about the situation developed due to coronavirus in Karnali province and the means and resources needed for the Karnali folks immediately.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Shahi urged Minister Ale to take further initiative immediately from the federal government for the construction of an oxygen plant with a capacity to refill 1,000 cylinders per day, isolation ward and arrangement of antigen kit, said Minister Ale’s Personal Secretary, Hemant Regmi.

Similarly, Minister Ale also telephoned chief district officers of all districts of the province and enquired about the situation created due to COVID-19
