Four lakh voters in Chitwan

The number of eligible voters in the district has reached 399,871. The number will decrease during the protest. According to the District Election Office, the number of voters is 86,868 more than in the 2074 BS election.

 In the local level election of 2074 BS, there were 313,000 voters. Chief of the office Bhimsen Karki informed that the final list will be made public after the protest program. According to the latest figures released by the office, 36,396 voters have been added in Bharatpur, 10,970 in Rapti, 10,445 in Khairhani and 9,685 in Ratnanagar.

Similarly, 8,420 voters have been added in Kalika municipality, 6,820 in Madi municipality and 4,132 in Ichchakamana village municipality. According to the latest statistics, there are 186,670 voters in Bharatpur, 40,968 in Rapti, 43,708 in Khairhani and 52,839 in Ratnanagar.

There are 31 thousand 407 voters in Kalika, 28 thousand 493 in Madi and 15 thousand 786 in Ichchakamana. It is estimated that 47 polling stations will be added this time. Polling stations are set up so that one thousand people can cast their votes in one polling station.

The office is going to make public the list of eligible voters in all the 98 ward offices of the district on March 3. Karki informed that work is underway to correct the error by making the list public in the concerned ward office of the voters. According to him, the time to correct the error has been fixed till March 6.

If there is a double name in different wards, if the name and address are bad, those who have migrated will be able to correct the list as the address has changed after marriage. As they have double names, they can apply by filling the schedule issued by the Election Commission.

In case of such migration and marriage, the person himself or a member of the same family will be able to correct the enrollment by filling up the schedule till the 23rd of this month. In case of such death, the family members of the same family can remove the list by filling the schedule.
