State Election Office No. 1, State Biratnagar has conducted an interaction program with the stakeholders on the issue of updating the voter list for the local level election 2079 BS here today. On the occasion, it was said that all the voters and political parties should be vigilant as the voter list update and protest program is being held from March 6 to 7.

The program was attended by representatives of political parties, security officials and media persons in the district.

Chief District Officer of Morang, Kashiraj Dahal, said that the identity cards should be kept safe so as not to waste the expenses incurred by the state on voter identity cards targeting the election. Chief of the Provincial Election Office, Levan Kasyap Adhikari, said that everyone's participation was needed in the program and process prepared by the commission to organize the upcoming election. There are around 710,000 voters in Morang so far.
