Government in favour of independence of judiciary

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said that the government is in favour of independence of the judiciary.

Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport this morning, Minister Karki said that the government is committed to maintaining and consolidating people's trust in the dignity of the Supreme Court. Emphasizing on the need for stability and sustainable development in the country, Minister Karki expressed the view that the government would work according to the wishes of the people.

He also made it clear that the leadership of the government of Province No. 1 would be as per the decision of the current ruling alliance.
