Nagarkoti informed that many areas in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province and
Gandaki Province have been witnessing heavy rains since Wednesday night. The division said a few places in the aforementioned provinces have been witnessing heavy rains accompanied by lightning. Meanwhile, other provinces have been witnessing slightly lighter rainfall.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has informed that a majority of places in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province and Gandaki Province and a few places in Karnali Province and
Sudurpaschim Province will witness light to heavy rains today. The division has warned people to remain alert for the next 24 hours.
The division has warned people living especially in the highlands and close to rivers and streams to be extra careful.
