President Ramchandra Paudel laid the foundation for the construction of a Chautaro or traditional resting place and pond. The President did so by planting the saplings of bar-pipal trees inside the premises of the Office of the President.
President Paudel had suggested to the office for the construction of the resting place and pond with bar-pipal trees right after he assumed office.
Accordingly, yesterday he planted a bar-pipal tree along with a pooja.
Khila Karki, the press coordinator of President Paudel, shared that bar-pipal trees were planted on the west side of the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the construction of the resting place. The pond is being constructed below the place where the bar-pipal was planted.
