An integrated help desk has been set up in Jumla as coronavirus infections have increased.
A help desk has been set up in front of the District Administration Office as per the decision of the COVID-19 District Crisis Management Committee. The desk will provide vaccination against COVID-19, RDT, and antigen testing for suspects, arrange a mask bank and measure fever and provide public awareness about COVID-19, said Chief District Officer Vijayakumari Prasai.
The desk has been set up jointly by District Administration and Public Health Office Jumla, Chandannath Municipality, and Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Jumla, said Krishna Prasad Sapkota, Chief of Public Health Office Jumla. Masks, sanitizers, RDTs, antigen tests, and vaccines are administered by the Public Health Office. The integrated help desk will promote public health standards.
A help desk has been set up in view of the possible outbreak of the coronavirus, said Prasai. According to the Jumla Public Health Office, an integrated help desk has been set up to identify corona-infected patients. According to the locals, the help desk will also play an important role in spreading awareness messages to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
Kshetra Bahadur Mahat, Public Health Inspector of Chandannath Municipality, Jumla, said that the help desk has been set up to provide information about COVID-19 and to identify and check the patients, how to avoid the coronavirus and the symptoms of the disease to the passengers entering and leaving Jumla.
