The government has postponed the Pfizer vaccination campaign for a few days. According to Bharat Bhandari, Vaccination Officer, Vaccination Branch of Department of Health Services, the vaccination campaign has been postponed for the time being as there is a lack of syringes required for the vaccination

Bhandari informed that the vaccination campaign will start as soon as the syringes arrive. He said, "We will start the vaccination campaign after the solution required for the vaccine arrives. No date has been fixed for the start of the vaccination campaign. The campaign will probably start in eight to ten days."

The Pfizer vaccine requires a 0.33 mm syringe made by Pfizer. Six lakh 64 thousand 650 Pfizer vaccines have already arrived for the vaccination campaign. The Ministry of Health and Population, National Health Education, Information and Communication Center had issued a notice on December 17 stating that the Pfizer vaccination campaign would be launched in eight districts from December 28 to 6 January.
