At least 16 people have died in Doti district so far due to floods. Pushkar Kami, 15, who was injured in a landslide in Jorayal village of the district, died today while undergoing treatment, according to the Area Police Office, Jorayal.
The District Police Office reports that the number of deaths due to floods and landslides in the district has reached 16.
According to Chief District Officer, Shankar Bahadur Bista, 16 people have lost their lives due to floods and landslides in Doti. Similarly, 12 people were injured and 35 quadrupeds were killed, 25 injured and 20 went missing due to the floods. According to the District Administration Office, 110 displaced households, 500 displaced citizens and two suspension bridges were damaged.
