Monsoon Induced Disaster Update: 88 killed, 30 missing

88 deaths have been reported till today morning after floods and landslides due to continuous rain, as per the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA).

Likewise, a total of 30 people have gone missing according to MoHA's Disaster Management Division (DMD).

11 deaths have been confirmed today due to landslides while before this, 63 deaths were confirmed on Wednesday while 15 deaths were reported on Tuesday.

Similarly, 27 people lost their lives in Panchthar district only which is the highest death toll.

Thirteen people have died in Ilam and Doti districts with a tally of 26 deaths.

Meanwhile, Kalikot, Baitadi, Dadeldhura, Bajhang, Humla, Solukhumbhu, Pyuthan, Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur along with 15 districts have reported human loss, informed DMD's chief, Humkala Pandey.

Twenty districts are badly affected by the disaster. Twenty-one people are missing in Bajhang which is the highest missing toll.

30 people have gone missing in different districts including four in Panchthar, according to MoHA.

From today, the weather has been improved.
