Liu Jianchao, International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party, who is on a four-day visit to Nepal, is holding talks with top leaders of major political parties today.
Yesterday, he had called Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Foreign Minister. After meeting Narayan Khadka, Jianchao is holding talks with CPN-Maoist Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal today. He is scheduled to meet Dahal at his residence at 4 pm.
He is also scheduled to meet CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and UCPN-M Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal as well. And will meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Tuesday morning and return home on Wednesday.
Jianchao arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday morning. Foreign Minister Khadka hosted a dinner in his honor on Sunday evening.
