Manakamana Cable Car will remain closed from 8th August 2022 to facilitate system upgrade Phase 1 to a digital system. The upgrading works are running in coordination with the technical team arriving from Doppelmayr, Austria.
According to The Management of Manakamana Cable Car Company, The estimated time for completion is approximately 5-6 weeks.
During the upgrading period, the cafe at the bottom station will remain open regularly.
