Dhan Kumari Basnet BK of Galkot Municipality-7 Malma of Baglung has gone missing along with her four-year-old son in New Delhi, the capital of India. Her husband Rajendra informed that Vick was found in Delhi on Sunday, two weeks after she went missing from home.
He said that he was returning to Nepal with his wife and son Saksham. After receiving information that he had gone to India during the search, Rajendra had reached Delhi on the same day to pick up his wife and son. He said that he was found sitting in a room in Delhi with an unknown woman.
"The mother and son were found safe in Delhi. I am returning home with them now," he said in a telephone interview. Rajendra said that his wife did not even know the name of the woman. According to Rajendra, they had planned to go to Delhi after talking on the phone. He said that his wife had reached Delhi after being lured by an unknown woman for employment.
It has been found that Vic Angakhet, who left home with her son on December 10, got into a jeep from Butwal and from there reached Delhi. Rajendra had lodged a complaint with the police and ward office to search for the missing mother.
The family was worried as the situation could not be ascertained even after two weeks of disappearance. A request was also made to the District Police Office for an investigation into the 'call details' of the telephone. Vic's mobile phone was suddenly switched off when I came to my brother's house while talking to my husband. He then lost contact. Later, during a conversation on Facebook Messenger, Rajendra said that he went in search after his wife told him that they were in Delhi.
