Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba said that the need of the hour is to safeguard nation, national unity and national sovereignty.
At a programme organized by the NC Nuwakot constituency no. 1 on Monday, President Deuba asserted that it was the responsibility of all political parties to stabilize the nation and national unity.
Deuba, also the former Prime Minister, further said that the need of the hour was to move ahead with consensus with all political parties in accordance with the constitution.
He emphasized further strengthening of the federal democratic republic system.
Similarly, NC Spokesperson and Minister for Finance Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat opined that NC would attain favorable results in the upcoming elections if NC's good undertakings were publicized among the public.
NC central committee member Bahadur Singh Lama, NC Nuwakot President Ramesh Kumar Mahat among others said that no force could defeat the NC in the upcoming election if they stand united.
