The newly appointed ministers of Lumbini Province took the oath of office and secrecy before the Province Chief on Sunday.
Province Chief Amik Sherchan administered the oath as per Article 172 of the Constitution amidst a ceremony organized in the province capital, Rapti Valley.
Upon the recommendation of the Chief Minister, Jokh Bahadur Mahara was administered as Minister for Economic Affairs, Indrajit Tharu as Minister for Drinking Water and Physical Infrastructures Development, Bishnu Prasad Panthi as Minister for Health, Durga Prasad Chaudhari as Minister for Forest and Environment, Janaki Prasad Yadav as Minister for Industry, Tourism and Transport Management, Tulsi Ram Sharma as Minister for Agriculture and Land Management, and Chandra Kesh Gupta as Minister for Social Development.
