Doti police arrested a man from Dhyadi in KI Singh Rural Municipality-1 in possession of an illegal single-loaded gun on Thursday evening.
The arrestee has been identified as Shankar Rawat, a 53-year-old resident of KI Singh Rural Municipality.
Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Bayal-based Police Office nabbed Rawat and found the gun while searching his house.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
