A person was killed today in Jhapa when a Nepalese Army vehicle and a motorcycle collided with each other.
According to Police Inspector Ashok Javegu of the District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa, a person riding a motorcycle was killed when a vehicle (Ba 1 Jh 1011) driven by the Nepali Army and a motorcycle (1-01-012 P 3857) collided at the bridge of Satasi Khola in Shivasatakshi municipality-11 this morning. The deceased is 28-year-old Hom Bahadur Khatri, a resident of Mahabhara 3. Khatri, who was riding a motorcycle traveling from east to west, was seriously injured when he collided with a vehicle driven by the Nepali Army and died during treatment at Mechi Hospital, Police Inspector Javegu said.
