PM Oli appoints ministers giving full shape to Cabinet

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairperson of CPN UML, has given full shape to the Council of Ministers. He today appointed six federal ministers and one state minister from CPN UML and one federal minister from the Rajendra Mahato faction of the Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal.

The Cabinet at present includes three deputy prime ministers, 18 federal ministers and three state ministers along with the prime minister.

Prime Minister Oli has appointed Khagraj Adhikari as the Minister of Home Affairs while Nain Kala Thapa has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Similarly, Narad Muni Rana has been appointed as Minister of Forests and Environment and Ganesh Pahadi as Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

Meanwhile, Mohan Baniya has been appointed as minister to look after the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. Similarly, Jwala Kumari Shah has been appointed as Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development.

Prime Minister Oli has also appointed Raj Kishor Yadav from Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal as Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

Meanwhile, Asha BK has been appointed as State Minister of Forest and Environment.
