PM Oli says Nepal to receive sufficient number of vaccines

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said Nepal will receive sufficient number of vaccines against the coronavirus. He mentioned that no Nepali will now have to suffer due to a lack of vaccines.

PM Oli mentioned this while inaugurating the newly constructed building of Bir Hospital which will house the surgical department. He added the government has a target to inoculate all the citizens against COVID-19 by the end of this year.

While addressing the inauguration, the prime minister stated that vaccines have started arriving and more will be coming in the next few days. He also mentioned that the government has started the process to buy more vaccines.

Furthermore, PM Oli urged all the citizens to wear face masks and maintain social distance and other related health safety measures until and unless the coronavirus pandemic has been controlled at the global level. He added the country has been able to contain the spread of the coronavirus due to the government putting it in its top priority and making all efforts to stop the spread of the virus.
