The protesting transport workers announced a shutdown of public transport in Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday. Nepal Transport Independent Workers' Organization, All Nepal Transport Workers' Union, and Nepal Transport Workers' Union jointly called for public transport shutdown.
They have accused the government of not following the
agreement made with them. Bhimjwala Rai, president of Nepal Transport Independent Workers' said.
