Outgoing Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane, who was dismissed as a member of Parliament by the Supreme Court's decision, has welcomed the Supreme Court's decision. Talking to the journalists gathered outside the Ministry of Home Affairs, he said that he would welcome and accept the decision of the Supreme Court. When he was questioned by journalists, he was asked the opposite, saying that he was questioning a citizen of which country.
He also said that he was an unidentified citizen. When asked what to do next, he replied that he did not know. Lamichhane told reporters that he is not the president of Rastriya Swatantra Party and also nobody of the party. Even the journalists did not want to ask him many questions. He then left Singh durbar in a private number plate vehicle.
