The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said it has been raining in most places of five provinces in the country. The division mentioned many areas in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province have been witnessing light to heavy showers.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said many places in the aforementioned provinces will witness rains this afternoon too. Meanwhile, a few places in Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province will witness light to medium rainfall.
According to the division, Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province and Gandaki Province could witness heavy showers accompanied by thunder and lightning in the afternoon. It has also forecast light to medium rainfall in most places of the abovementioned provinces at night. Similarly, it has said some places in Karnali and Sudurpaschim could witness light to medium rainfall at night.
The division has also urged people to stay alert for the next 24 hours.
