The work of upgrading Sapsukhola-Manebhanjyang-Panchdhare road connecting Sakela Rural Municipality to neighboring district, Bhojpur has started.
The 28 km road, which was constructed as an alternative to the Mid-Hills Highway, is currently undergoing work. The contractor company has stated that the work of upgrading the road contracted is about 70 per cent complete. Prem Malla, a representative of the contractor company, said that the work of widening the road, constructing drains, and filling the nets has been completed. "The first layer of gravel is being laid as the work on the structure has been completed," he said.
