Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he has shouldered the responsibility to materialise martyrs' dreams.
Addressing a programme organized in Gorkha on 24th Memorial Day of martyrs Suresh Wagle (Basu) and Bhimsen Pokharel (Bairagi) on Saturday, the PM pledged to materialize the dreams of martyrs adding that the issues raised during the People's War were not achieved.
The programme was held at Aanppipal of Palungtar Municipality-2 in Gorkha district in memory of Wagle and Pokharel who were murdered by the state force during the insurgency period.
"We are determined to establish the remaining issues through peaceful manner," the PM said.
PM Dahal, who is also the CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman, said that conducive environment has been created to honour the People's War, its martyrs and the disappeared warriors during his premiership.
"After getting the government leadership this time, I have declared martyrs to the entire martyrs of the People's War and People's Movement," he added.
The PM went on to elaborate that declaration of national day to the People's War and martyrs as well as the publication in the Nepal Gazette has created a respectful environment to the People's War.
Likewise, PM Dahal added that some jobs of the comprehensive peace agreement are yet to complete and the government was working to finalize them.
