Starting tomorrow ban will be lifted from Leitang

It has been decided to lift the ban from 6 am tomorrow after the situation became normal in Leitang Municipality of Morang, which has been tense for three days.

Chief District Officer Kashiraj Dahal informed that the decision was taken after today's meeting of the District Security Committee. It is said that the curfew has been maintained in the tense area from 6 pm today till tomorrow morning.

Urmila Shrestha, a police constable of Biratnagar Rani Gana, died in the line of duty after a local teacher sexually abused a girl student of her own school in Holi. Protesters and security personnel were also injured in the incident.

The current situation is normal, however, police patrols and surveillance will be intensified in the area, said Chief District Officer Dahal.
