Three arrested with muzzleloader guns in Tehrathum

Three people have been arrested in possession of three muzzleloader guns from Laliguras Municipality-1 in Tehrathum district on Saturday afternoon.

The arrested have been identified as Ram Gurung (36), Manoj Gurung (35), and Prem Gurung (34), all local residents of Bhulke in the same municipality.

Security personnel deployed from the Lasune-based Police Office arrested them in possession of the guns during routine patrolling.

Meanwhile, police recovered one muzzleloader gun from Surkegard Rural Municipality-4 in Humla district on Friday afternoon.

Sarkedeu-based Police Office personnel recovered the gun from Gothi River while patrolling the area.

Further investigation into the matters is underway, informed the police.
