Two youths who had been charged under different cases but absconding were arrested on Wednesday from Shuklagandaki Municipality in Tanahun district.
Police arrested one of the youths who had been absconding after he was convicted on a drug-related case from Shuklagandaki Municipality-2 in Tanahun district on Wednesday.
The accused has been identified as Ashish Shrestha (24), a local resident of Gachepani in the same municipality.
Tanahun District Court had convicted him on a drugs-related case and fined him Rs 12,000 and sentenced him to 2 months and 29 days of imprisonment on March 10.
Meanwhile, police arrested another youth who had been convicted of indecent behaviour and other miscellaneous cases and was absconding from Shuklagandaki Municipality-9 in Tanahun district on Wednesday.
The arrested has been identified as Arjun Bhujel (25), a local resident of Ghari in the same municipality.
Tanahun District Court had convicted him on an indecent behaviour case and fined him Rs 2,000 and sentenced him to 1 month and 26 days imprisonment on April 8.
Both the accused have been presented to Tanahun District Court for necessary action, informed District Police Office, Tanahun.
