Armed Police Force personnel deployed from Golbazar in Siraha district have arrested two youths in possession of 200 gm gold for which there is no valid source on Wednesday night.
The arrested have been identified as Jibach Kumar Mandal and Mohammad Sauddin, both residents of Laxmipur Patari Rural Municipality-4 in Siraha.
After seeing the Armed Police Force personnel, they threw the bag containing the gold and tried running away. They even left behind the motorcycle they had been riding on. The security personnel nabbed them after a chase, informed Inspector of Armed Police Force, Shyambabu Yadav.
Both the arrested and seized gold have been handed over to Madar-based District Customs Office, informed the APF.
