A man has been arrested on charge of stealing a motorcycle from Bhantabari in Koshi Rural Municipality-8 in Sunsari district on Saturday.
The arrested has been identified as Om Prakash Yadav, a local resident of the same rural municipality in the district.
Yadav allegedly stole the motorcycle with vehicle registration number BA 90 PA 7793, belonging to Bikram Shah, resident of Koshi Rural Municipality-1.
Meanwhile, another youth was arrested on charge of stealing cattle (buffalo and calf) from Suksena Naharcheu in Bhokraha Rural Municipality-5 in Sunsari district.
The arrested has been identified as Jiyaudin Mansusari (22), a local resident of the same rural municipality in the district. Mansusari allegedly stole the cattle belonging to Ramrup Khatwe, a resident of Babiya in Inaruwa Municipality-9.
Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Sunsari-based District Police Office (DPO) nabbed them.
