Chairman of CPN-UML and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has once again challenged the government to quickly investigate where and when Yeti Holdings leased land from Nepal Trust.

According to Nepal Press Online News Portal, Chairman Oli, who arrived in Butwal to address the UML's Lumbini state convention, also revealed the details of which land had been taken by yeti and challenged him to conduct an investigation as soon as possible.

According to Oli, the lease of Gokarna Forest Resort was transferred from a foreigner when Sushil Koirala was the Prime Minister. Similarly, Oli also said that the land of Darbarmarg was leased by Yati when Puspakamal Dahal was the Prime Minister and the lease agreement was signed during the time of then Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Oli said that the government has started attacking national capitalists and businessmen and also accused the government involved in smuggling of failing to see that the poor Nepalis are suffering. Yeti Holdings was founded by brothers of Solukhumbu Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa and the late Angchiring Sherpa.

Oli said that corrupt people have a wrong view of the business established by Sherpas who went from trekking workers to tourism sector.

He said that the protectors of gold smugglers are terrorizing national businessmen.
