Dhanalakshmi Rawal, 20, of Junka village in Khatyad-4 of Mugu, who was being rescued, has given birth to a child inside the helicopter.
"Rawal was being transported to Surkhet Hospital which is 40km away from Mugu when she gave birth to a boy after 30 minutes passed", said Belina Malla, quoting Chief fighter and helicopter pilot Rachan Shrestha.
According to her, Rawal was rescued from Surkhet by helicopter after the baby could not be delivered. "Rawal was rescued by helicopter after being in labor pain for 18 hours," he said.
