Police on Thursday arrested a youth in possession of around 1.20 milligrams of brown sugar in Rajapur Municipality-1 in Bardiya district.
The arrested has been identified as Bibek Chaudhary (23) of Jhagai in the same municipality.
Security personnel deployed from the Rajapur-based Area Police Office checked Chaudhary after they aroused suspicion, and confiscated the substances from his possession. Chaudhary was carrying the brown sugar and walking on the road near the house in the same place.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
