Mohan Acharya of the Nepali Congress has won in the district of Rasuwa. Acharya won by getting 18,235 votes. His nearest competitor Chhewang Tamang has received 8,614 votes.
According to the election office, when a total of 28,211 votes were counted, 27,427 votes were valid and 784 votes were invalid.
